Scores and Rules in Class

RULES IN CLASS

1. Attendance is very important. Each time you miss class,-2%. If you miss 6 classes, you will get an F.

2. No cheating (커닝)!! If I find you cheating, you will get an F.

3. Your participation score is 10%. Each time you are sleeping, doing homework for other classes, using your cell phone, talking too much, or not participating, I will take -1%.

4. Please ask questions if you do not understand.

5. Please tell me if you have MT or sports day one week before.

For example if you have MT 4월11일, please tell me 4월4일.^^

SCORES:

Attendance: 10 %

Participation: 10 %

Quiz 1: 10 %

Midterm Exam: 30 %

Quiz 2: 10 %

Group Presentaton: 15 %

Final Test: 15 %

TOTAL: 100%

This class will be scored on a CURVE system. Scores will be distributed in the class according to the following percentages:

A= 0-30% B= 20-40% C= 20-40% D&F= 10-40%

For example, if there are 40 students in class,

A = 0~12 students (0~30% of 40 students)

B = 8~16 students (20~40% of 40 students)

C = 8-16 students (20~40% of 40 students)

D&F = 4-16 students (10-40% of students)
